Functions of the Dicastery of Education

The Dicastery of Education is headed by H.E. Prof. Mario Lucio Porrone.

The Dicastery consists of the Department of Education and the Department of Academic Studies.

The Dicastery of Education aims to establish educational institutions in the Principality and works with the Abbey Gendarmerie to set up a music conservatory.

The Department of Academic Studies manages the Ecumenical Institute, a theological hub for interreligious interaction. The Ecumenical Institute has signed a framework agreement with the renowned “Gentium Pro Pace” academy based in Rome.
